Today the Cable Television Public Affairs Association (CTPAA) announced several top cable executives who will participate in the general sessions of FORUM 2007, March 11-14 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The general sessions will focus on the conference theme, “Cable to the Extreme: Communicating the Possibilities."

Confirmed senior executives for the Monday, March 12, opening general session panel include:
- Mark A. Coblitz, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning, Comcast Corporation
- Laureen Ong, President, National Geographic Channel
- Josh Sapan, President and CEO, Rainbow Media Holdings
- Michael Willner, CEO, Insight Communications<
Tuesday's general session on March 13 will include an interview between Kyle McSlarrow, President & CEO, National Cable & Telecommunications Association and CNN State Department Correspondent Zain Verjee. McSlarrow will discuss a wide range of issues that currently affect the cable industry. Additional participants for both panels will be confirmed at a later date.
“This year's conference will provide cable communications’ professionals an excellent mix of critical information and skills they need in the industry’s ever-changing marketplace,” Katina Arnold, FORUM co-chair and Vice President of Communications for ESPN said. “We have an excellent panel lineup to discuss ‘cable to the extreme’ so we can all be more effective communicating its possibilities.”
FORUM is the cable industry's annual educational event dedicated to the issues facing public affairs professionals. The three-day program will feature general and breakout sessions on community relations, government relations, communications/technology, and public affairs fundamentals.
