Association of Cable Communicators Has Extended
the 2012 Beacon Awards Deadline to May 11
Washington, DC –– The Association of Cable Communicators (ACC) has extended the 2012 Beacon Awards deadline to May 11 to ensure that the best cable communications efforts will be honored and recognized. The Beacon Awards recognize excellence in cable communications and public affairs. The winners will be honored during the Beacon Awards Ceremony, the concluding event of ACC's annual conference FORUM 2012 held September 12-13 in New York City.
"We are operating in a new golden age in public relations, a time of continuous innovation and evolution for communicators," said Steve Jones, executive
director of ACC. "The Beacon Awards enable us to identify and celebrate the very significant role cable communicators play in our industry's success and recognize the best of those efforts."
The extended deadline follows a simplification of the Beacon Award entry process, categories and entry form. All one needs for a Beacon Award entry is a shorter one-and-a-half to two-page project summary, completed entry form and payment, all of which may be emailed to ACC.
Beacon Award entries must represent work executed and results achieved between May 13, 2011, and May 11, 2012. More information can be found at: https://www.cablecommunicators.org/awards_beacon.php.
