Association of Cable Communicators Simplifies the
2012 Beacon Awards Entry Process
Deadline to Enter is May 4, 2012
Washington, DC ––The Association of Cable Communicators (ACC) has simplified the 2012 Beacon Awards entry process, categories and entry form to ensure that the best cable communications efforts will be honored and recognized. All one needs for a Beacon Award entry is a shorter one-and-a-half to two-page project summary, completed entry form and payment, all of which may be emailed to ACC. The deadline to enter the 2012 Beacon Awards is May 4, 2012. The Beacon Awards Ceremony is the concluding event of ACC's annual conference FORUM 2012 held September 12-13 in New York City.
"Across this country cable communicators promote their company's products, contribute to the bottom line and improve the quality of life in the communities their companies serve," said Steve Jones, executive director of ACC. "The Beacon Awards celebrate the very significant role cable communicators play in our industry's success and recognize the best of those efforts."
The improvements to ACC's 2012 Beacon Awards follow last year's move to enable ACC members to submit their entries electronically via email. This year's entrants may also send supplemental supporting materials by mail. Beacon Award entries must represent work executed and results achieved between May 13, 2011, and May 4, 2012.
