ACC Delivers New Benefits To Corporate Supporters
Industry's only professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in cable communications introduces new corporate member benefits
Washington, DC ––The Association of Cable Communicators (ACC) today announced key new benefits for corporate supporters, designed to deliver additional value to ACC's member companies, highlight core ACC programs and further the organization's mission to raise the level of communications work being conducted across the cable industry.
"There is broad consensus among current ACC members that the value they receive through our various programs exceeds the cost of membership, and now we are building on this commitment by delivering additional value and tangible benefits to our corporate members," said Jim Maiella, ACC President. "The enhancements we are announcing today also allow us to highlight the importance of core ACC initiatives, like the Communications Institute."
For the coming year, in addition to existing benefits, ACC corporate members at the Golden Benefactor ($15,000) level will receive one seat at ACC's annual Cable Communications Institute, an intensive 2.5-day graduate-level learning experience designed for mid to senior level communications executives and offered in partnership with Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Lubin House in New York City. This seat represents a $2,000 value. Corporate members at the Friends and Associates ($4,000) level will receive a 25% discount on one seat at the Communications Institute.
Corporate members will also save when entering the 2010 Beacon Awards. The Beacon Awards provide a benchmark for excellence and demonstrate in real terms the value of quality communication campaigns to the industry. Finalists and winners achieve peer, national, industry, and local market recognition for their exemplary work while setting a standard for their colleagues. This year, Golden Benefactors will receive three complimentary Beacon Award entries - an approximately $800 value - while Friends and Associates members will receive one complimentary entry. The Beacon Awards have been one of cable's highest honors for two decades and annually recognizes the top cable communications campaigns from system operators, network programmers, and non-profit organizations around the nation.
In addition to the new benefits, corporate members enjoy complimentary annual individual memberships; free registrations at FORUM, ACC's annual educational conference for communications professionals, and more.
