Beacon Awards®

Honoring excellence in communications and public affairs throughout the cable industry

2014 Beacon Awards® Entry Deadline is March 21, 2014

The Association of Cable Communicators has set March 21, 2014 as the entry deadline for this year’s Beacon Awards®. The Beacon Awards have been cable’s highest recognition of communications and public affairs excellence since 1989. Continuing the revisions that streamlined the submission process from previous years, all entrants need to submit is a one-and-a-half to two-page project summary, completed entry form and payment, all of which may be emailed to ACC. The Beacon Awards Ceremony will be one of the highlights of ACC’s annual conference, FORUM 2014, June 3-5 in Atlanta at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center.

2001 – 2012 Beacon Award Finalist Project Summaries (members-only)

The core of every Beacon Award entry is the project summary as it details the planning, implementation and results of a successful cable communications or public affairs campaign. In addition to being great sources for innovative ideas in cable communications, these project summaries serve as helpful models when drafting your own project summaries for your 2013 Beacon Award entries. ACC has posted online in its members-only area eleven years worth of project summaries for the best campaigns in cable communications.
