"Working at the Texas Capitol is No Picnic" Kit
SM-EL-02
Support Materials - Cable System 2
Time Warner Cable-Southwest Division - Flower Mound, TX
Working at the Texas Capitol is No PicnicAs competition in Texas has grown - in the marketplace and in the legislative environment, it has become more important than ever to build stronger relationships with state representatives and senators, and make Time Warner Cable the industry information resource. Time Warner Cable created “Working-at-the-Texas-Capitol-is-NO-Picnic” Kits as an integral part of a multi-layered campaign to enhance government relations in Texas. The kits included often overlooked supplies for those working breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as a luggage-tag style contact list. Wrapped in a touch of humor and respect for the hard work of elected officials and their staff, the kits created a positive relationship that continued beyond the State of Texas’ 80th Legislative Session.

Nickelodeon's Let's Just PlayThe Let’s Just Play Go Healthy Challenge is Nickelodeon’s commitment to improving the overall health and wellness of kids. Nickelodeon followed two role models who participated in the Go Healthy Challenge in a 6 part mini-series and provided kids with online resources so kids could participate in their own individual Go Healthy Challenge. During Worldwide Day of Play, Nickelodeon, Noggin, NickToons, Nick GAS, and Nick.com went dark for 3 hours, to encourage kids to turn the TV off, get up, get out and go play. The Let’s Just Play Giveaway empowers kids to control the way they play by nominating their school or organization to win $5000 to support fitness, recreation and nutrition.
