ACC enhances the role of the communications practitioner within the cable television industry by promoting the valuable contributions of communications and public affairs activities at national and regional industry conferences and through a variety of educational opportunities. ACC will continue to explore venues to both enhance the professional development of members and promote the contributions of communications and public affairs initiatives.

ACC Regional Seminars on Government & Media Relations Topics

ACC is producing and hosting educational sessions to enhance the skills of cable professionals. Consisting of two components, one with a focus on government relations and a second that looks at media relations techniques, these seminars will be conducted either independently or bundled together into a full day program. The sessions are underwritten by ACC with the twin goals of strengthening the effectiveness of individual members and supporting educational opportunities at the local level.  For more information, to register for either of the upcoming ACC sessions described below, or to express an interest in hosting one of these sessions in your local area, please contact Steve Jones at 202-222-2373, 800-210-3396 or sjones@cablecommunicators.org.
