Each year ACC sponsors the Beacon Awards competition honoring excellence in public affairs throughout the cable industry. Individuals from MSOs, cable systems, programming networks and state associations are recognized for achievements in the areas of public relations, community outreach, customer service, education and government affairs. Beacon Awards finalists and winners achieve peer, industry and local market recognition for their exemplary work, while setting a standard for their colleagues to emulate.
